When a Trial Synchronization is performed, a list of file changes are displayed so you can see what happens before it happens. No other synchronizing application lets you manage your data so thoroughly.

Tasks can be scheduled to run at any time. If your Mac is off and ChronoSync misses a schedule, it will make it up the next time you start your Mac. ChronoSync can even wake up your Mac to run a scheduled synchronization or have the same task run at different time intervals.
EVENT TRIGGERED SCHEDULING
ChronoSync Express supports event-based schedule. Trigger a sync to run when a drive is connected to your computer or when you mount a specific file server. Used in conjunction with ChronoAgent, you can also detect when other computers have joined your network and automatically trigger a synchronization or backup to occur with that specific computer!
FILTER FILES & FOLDERS
ChronoSync Express is designed to be flexible. It can meet the needs of any sync or backup strategy, no matter how simple or complex.
With ChronoSync Express you can narrow your sync/backup tasks by targeting specific folders, excluding files & folders, filtering files & rules using Rules, or a combination of these methods.

RULES
Add intelligence and create flexibility by using rules! Create rules to sync or backup folders and files by name, date, size, creator codes, extension, labels, flags, permissions, or any combination of the above.

The Intermediate and Advanced rule modes allow the creation of custom rules from over a dozen different rule types. You can also choose from over a dozen predefined rule templates.
You can create as many rules as you’d like, combining them in simple or complex boolean expressions. Any set of rules can be saved as a template making it easy to reuse custom rule sets in other synchronizer documents.
JUST IN CASE
ChronoSync Express saves old versions of your files in case you need to go back in time. Instead of just deleting files, ChronoSync saves deleted and modified files by placing them in an archive folder.
Set the archive options to save older files based on a specific number, length of time, or a combination of both. You can also compress archived files to save disk space.
Archived files are accessed in the Archive panel. The list view makes it easy to find, sort, and manage your archived files. Quickly find the file’s name, type, version number, archive date, and file date. Then open or restore any older version of a file with one click.
Files or groups of files are restored from an archive to one of three locations:
- Its original location (the source, if this is a backup).
- Its counterpart (the destination, if this is a backup).
- A specific folder of your choosing.

The “Running Scheduled Tasks” menu item will display all scheduled tasks that are currently executing along with a status/progress indicator.
LOGS
Each task maintains its own log where details of every operation can be recorded. You choose how much information is posted to the log.
Scheduled synchronizations are also logged so you can look back and see what scheduled syncs ran when and what the outcome was.

Deliver push notifications to your iPhone via ChronoMonitor. Get notice of completed backups & synchronizations — success or failure — nearly instantly while you’re anywhere in the world!
EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
Each task can target a different (or multiple) email account using custom subjects to facilitate email filtering. You can choose to receive a summary or detailed log information including all errors.
SYSTEM NOTIFICATIONS
Task completions and errors can generate user notifications that appear in the Notification Center. Keep track of what ChronoSync Express is doing while using other apps or even from the login screen!

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY
There is no trial version available for ChronoSync Express but you can test run ChronoSync to get a feel for ChronoSync Express. Both apps share the same interface with extra features added to ChronoSync.
Before purchasing, give ChronoSync a test run to make sure it fits your needs. To try a full working version for 15 days, download and run the installer. Upon launch, you’ll be presented with a licensing options window. Choose the ‘Activate Trial Mode’ option. If you need a trial key for older versions of ChronoSync, or need an extension, contact sales@econtechnologies.com.
