Does ChronoAgent work on Catalina?

Yes! ChronoAgent 1.9.3 (and newer versions) is optimized for Catalina.

What are the system requirements?

ChronoAgent requires macOS 10.12 or newer. 45.2 MB of free disk space is also needed.

If you need an older version that runs on Leopard (macOS 10.5) through El Capitan (macOS 10.11), click here. If you need an older version that runs on Tiger (macOS 10.4) or Panther (macOS 10.3) then send us a request.

Do you have educational or volume pricing?

We do not offer educational pricing, but do offer volume discounts to everyone. Discounts on 5 & 25 packs are available online. For information on larger quantity discounts, email our sales department with your inquiry.

Which native languages do ChronoAgent support?

ChronoAgent is available in English, French, German and Japanese.

Do I need to install ChronoAgent to connect to another Mac with ChronoSync?

Technically, no. You can connect and synchronize two Macs using built in file sharing. ChronoAgent offers several advantages, however, including more reliable connections, full access to all files and increased performance.

Do I need to install ChronoAgent on a Mac to access it with InterConneX?

Yes and No.

Yes, if you want to access files stored on the Mac from any iOS device. In this instance you would install ChronoAgent on the Mac and InterConneX on the iOS device.

No, if you want to synchronize files from a Mac to any iOS device. In this instance you would install ChronoSync on the Mac and InterConneX on the iOS device.

I want to install ChronoAgent on two Macs. Do I need to buy two license keys?

Yes. You need to buy a License Key for each Mac you install ChronoAgent on.

A ChronoAgent License can be registered on only one Mac.

To move a license key from an old Mac to a new Mac, unregister on the old Mac and then register on the new Mac.

Does ChronoSync and ChronoAgent offer any network encryption?

Yes. ChronoSync and ChronoAgent employ optional SSL encryption so that all data exchanged between machines is encrypted. InterConneX employs non-optional SSL encryption. This is a significant advantage over built-in file sharing since standard file sharing connections are not encrypted at all.
