| Using the Red-Eye Reduction Tool | ||
| A common problem with flash photography is the red-eye it produces. Red-eye results from the reflection of the flash which causes the pupil to turn red in the photograph. With Portraits & Prints it is very easy to eliminate those demon eyes - just follow these six easy steps:
1. Select a photo
3. Aim Note: If the target circle is covering more than just the red area it will cause a black & blue effect. This is only good if you want to get rid of the red-eye and replace it with a black-eye. Try it out for those tough guy photos.
Once it is positioned perfectly, click the mouse and the red eye is gone. 6. Done If you want to start over, use the undo command (COMMAND-Z). When you are finished using red eye reduction click on the Red Eye icon button on the toolbar again. That's it! You can always find help under Help on the main menu or by downloading the manual.
