Webcam - Hi Res Daylight View Area
Above is a slightly expanded and labeled "still" of the webcam's view from KB Home's Hasley Hills (circa 2001). The red lines define the webcam view. The back fence is bordered with star jasmine and four asparagus ferns surround the fountain. The large green pots contain 4th of July climbing roses while the small sling pots hold gazanias. Spider plants dominate the ledge containers immediately under the "return" arbors. This year's experiment roses are two everblooming climbing Cecile Brunners (own root) planted in the ground near the end bases of the back arbor section. Judy Garlands are in the medium sized containers near the back of the patio. A variety of floribundas flank the upper patio in a raised and arcing rose garden.
The skyline mountains represent the backsides of the mountains that define the northwest part of the San Fernando Valley portion of Los Angeles. The expansion of Stevenson Ranch and westward development of Newhall Ranch housing tracts are gradually adding urban lights to the foothills. Oat Mountain is a major communication link for radio repeaters as well as home to the local KABC-TV Doppler Radar dome. We get precise storm track information from their web site. Any firework burst captures should occur slightly to the right of, and above, the Six Flags Magic Mountain tower.
