Econ Technologies, Inc. develops custom software applications for commercial distribution and proprietary in-house use. Our software development services and capabilities are focused in:
  • Macintosh 9.X (Carbon) and Macintosh OS X (Cocoa) application development.
  • Windows 98, NT, ME, 2000, and XP application development.
  • Cross platform Java application development.
  • Application porting (Mac > Win, Win > Mac).

Our specialty is Mac OS X porting. Whether it's coming from another platform, such as Windows, or it's a classic Mac OS 9 application, we can take it to Mac OS X with ease and proficiency. We also are serious advocates of the Cocoa application environment and would be happy to convert Carbon code to run fully Mac OS X native as Cocoa applications.
