ChronoAgent Quick Setup.

ChronoAgent for Mac is a utility that runs on the destination Mac and communicates directly with ChronoSync on the source Mac, giving you full root access, faster synchronizations, and automatic backup options to a destination Mac. There are two steps in connecting ChronoSync to ChronoAgent: first, set up ChronoAgent on the destination Mac and second, using ChronoSync, set up a Connection Profile on the source Mac that communicates directly with ChronoAgent. This tip explains both steps so you quickly can be up and running.

The "Force all data to be encrypted" checkbox requires all connections between copies of ChronoSync and this agent to have all transferred data encrypted regardless of whether or not the ChronoAgent requires secure connections. This is optional, depending on your needs.

If you have a version of ChronoAgent prior to 1.3, you should turn on "Backwards compatible with older versions of ChronoAgent". When this is on, a less sophisticated encryption protocol is used. If you have ChronoAgent 1.3 or higher, leave this alone.
