How do I get a demo?
All Econ Technologies products are provided in electronic form. No physical packages are ever distributed. Just download and install any application to try it out. Each application download contains a complete version of the product you have chosen with certain features that are limited or disabled. When you purchase the product, a license key is emailed to you that unlocks the application and makes it fully functional.

I cannot mount the disk image file. What do I do?
If the ".dmg" file is not opening when you double click it, or it is opening as a text file, use the Disk Utility application. Disk Utility is located in the Applications under the Utilities folder. Just double click Disk Utility to open. Under the Images menu, choose Open... and then select the .dmg file you are trying to mount. This will mount the disk image and a disk image icon will appear on the desktop.

The License Key is a series of characters and dashes that must be entered into the Registration Panel. To open the Registration Panel click "Register Now" when you launch the program or choose "License" from the main menu while using the program. Type in your name, email, and enter the License Key using Copy/Paste, then click Register.

The License Key is a series of characters and dashes that must be entered into the Registration Panel. Open System Preferences and click on the ChronoAgent icon under "Other". Click on the License Panel and click on the "Re-license" button (you may have to click on the lock icon to make changes). Enter the License Key using Copy/Paste, type in your name, then click Register.

I get "Incorrect registration values" when I register. What do I do?
Make sure to Copy/Paste the License Key from your email, do not try to type it in. If you must type it in then change the font of the License Key so you can more easily distinguish the characters ("Courier" is a good one to use). Make sure you fill in the "User name". You may enter any name you want.

How do I install the program?
ChronoSync and ChronoAgent:
- Download the product by choosing the desired application from the Downloads page.
- Run the installer.
- That's it!
Portraits & Prints, DayChaser and ImageCaster:
- Download the product by choosing the desired application from the Free Downloads page.
- When the download is complete, a window will appear containing the Software License agreement. Once you select the Agree button on the license agreement, a window similar will appear on your desktop. If the license agreement does not open automatically, double click the .dmg file that was downloaded.
- Drag the program icon to your Applications folder. The easiest way to do this is to expand your toolbar on the above window. To do that, click the oval at the upper right hand corner of the window.
- After installing, close the above window and trash the .dmg file.
