This section presents several handy tips for using ChronoSync from the basics to the many powerful capabilities hidden beneath the surface.

overview
First things first.

With ChronoSync, you can synchronize, backup, and create bootable backups. ChronoSync can synchronize or backup to almost anything you can connect to your Mac. That includes folders on your Mac, other Macs, PC's, external drives, NAS drives, or anything you can mount to your Mac. ChronoSync performs synchronizations and backups from a document you create and save. Once you create and save a Synchronizer document, your synchronizations or backups always run from the same document. You can run a synchronization or backup at anytime or schedule it to run automatically.

There are two steps to get ChronoSync up and running:
  1. Connect - connect the source and destination.
  2. Set up - set up your ChronoSync document.
These tips will walk you through the steps needed to get your syncs and backups up and running. If you're unable to find the answer you are looking for from the tips or are unsure about anything then contact us by using the support form.
